The greatest event in America’s favorite pastime, the World Series of baseball, was first played in October of 1903. For the next 91 years the Series took place, rain or shine, through two World Wars, during the Great Depression and even in the midst of a devastating San Francisco earthquake. In 1994 the infamous baseball labor strike occurred, however the Rawlings Company had already been authorized to produce the official ball for that year. From “The World Series that Wasn’t” we have purchased original, mint condition 1994 Official Balls of the World Series. This is truly a collector’s item for any sports or history fanatic. Our supplies are limited, so don’t delay.
