These large (approximately 37” x 18”) tapestries memorialize two important political figures in modern American politics. Produced in and imported from Italy in 1968, these full color cloth and velvet-like tapestries proudly display the American flag, President John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert F. Kennedy, along with two shields at the bottom.
Both targets of assassins, President Kennedy was stricken in Dallas on November 22, 1963, by Lee Harvey Oswald, and his brother Robert lost his life at the hands of Sirhan Sirhan on June 5, 1968 (passing away on June 6, 1968) at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California, shortly after winning the California primary in his bid for the presidency (1968).
We offer these memorial tapestries, both in excellent condition, as follows:
JFK/RFK Tapestry (as pictured)
RFK/JFK Tapestry (reverse design)
Both Tapestries for $35 total
