Abraham Lincoln and Family C.D.V.
Abraham Lincoln and Family C.D.V.

Carte De Visite (abbreviated C.D.V.) were introduced in 1854 by a French photographer named Andre Disderi. Disderi introduced a method of producing glass plate images mounted on card stock. Issued primarily during 1860-66, these all but disappeared from production by the early 1870’s. We have just purchased a small group of C.D.V.’s featuring Abraham Lincoln and his family. Measuring approximately 2.5” x 4”, these photos are in fairly nice condition. We have a few different styles available, which will be identical or similar to the above picture. While our limited stock lasts, you can own one of these scarce Lincoln and Family Carte De Visite photographs for only $79.50
