Shirley Temple (April 23rd, 1928- February 10th, 2014) was a popular child star in the 1930’s.  She made her first movie “Bright Eyes” at age 3 which was written specifically for her age and talents.  The movie featured the song “On the Good Ship Lollypop” and made Shirley a box office star.  Rumors followed her throughout her childhood that because she was so talented (and also due to the fact she was never missing any baby teeth during her constant presence on the silver screen) that she was in fact a small 30 year old adult.  Her popularity waned in early adulthood, so she started a remarkable political career, running for Congress, and becoming the Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia.  We offer this commemorative 3 inch button picturing little Shirley for…
