German WWII Labor Front Membership Booklet
German WWII Labor Front Membership Booklet

The German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) was a National Socialist (Nazi) trade union that replaced all of the Weimar Republic trade unions. D.A.F. membership was theoretically voluntary, however, without it, finding work in any area of German industry or commerce would have been difficult. Membership in the D.A.F. required dues ranging from 15 Pfennig to 3 Reichsmark, depending on the category a member fell into. The Nazi regime raised a substantial amount of income from these dues, estimated at 300,000,000 Reichsmark just in 1934. We offer a genuine German WWII Labor Front Membership booklet for your consideration. Measuring approximately 4” x 6”, this red booklet bears the symbol of the D.A.F. showing the infamous swastika within a gear. Comprised of 16 pages, each booklet lists the union member’s name, birth date, city of birth and date of initial membership. Each booklet also includes monthly Nazi revenue stamps with cancellations.
