In the early 1900’s (primarily 1900-1930) grape-packaging houses used very ornate multi-colored crate labels to identify their products. Many of these labels reflected such themes as the California climate, the Spanish influence on California, flowers, birds along with a host of other topics. Due to cheaper methods, product labeling such as this began its decline in the 1950’s. We offer a collection of five different grape crate labels, including the Royal Flush Label as pictured, all in near mint to mint condition
