Stevenson 1960 Button
stevenson 1960 button

Adlai Stevenson was the Democratic Presidential candidate in 1952 and in 1956, losing both times to Dwight D. Eisenhower. When Stevenson’s name came up at the July 1960 Democratic Convention in Los Angeles, the idea of his third candidacy was squashed immediately. We offer a near mint to mint condition 7/8 inch button from this presidential hopeful who had lost twice and was not going to be given a third chance.
