In Honolulu during the 1950’s you needed bus tokens to get around town. Since these tokens featured a hula dancer, many tourists took them home as souvenirs. This caused a token shortage in Hawaii and these were soon replaced with a less exciting design. Because of this the “Hula” tokens immediately became collectors items. In 1967 these tokens cataloged for $45.00 each. But, while supplies last you can purchase these Uncirculated 1951 tokens for less than the price of a bus ride.
$1.95 for one $14.95 for ten
