wwii community chest window label

The community chest was a fundraising organization that collected money from local businesses and workers and distributed it to community projects.  The first community chest (Community Fund) was founded in 1913 by the Federation for Charity and Philanthropy.  We offer the World War II era community chest patriotic flag window label, which proudly states, “We gave the American way voluntarily”.  Colored red, white and blue, this near mint label measures approximately 4” x 5.5” and is housed in an archival holder.
